1. How will CDN Safety Training ensure all customers know how and are able to keep themselves safe from exposure to COVID-19?
- All classes will begin with an overview of new protective measures including hygiene, sanitization and distancing.
2. How will CDN Safety Training screen for COVID-19?
- Where training in provided at the customer’s location, CDN Safety Training Instructor will fill in the customer’s screening form and provide the completed form to the company sponsor.
- Where training is provided at our designated training location, CDN Safety Training will send out a COVID Screening form to every participant to fill in and provide the completed form on the day of training. The form will be reviewed prior to entering the facility. If answered “YES” on the screening form to any of the questions they will not be allowed access to enter the Facility until consultation is completed.
3. How will CDN Safety Training control the risk of transmission in the workplace?
- Class sizes will be reduced to facilitate social distancing of 2 meters between participants.
- Participants will be performing guided equipment training individually without direct contact from other students or instructors.
- Hand washing and sanitization is to be performed between any activities that involve shared surfaces or equipment.
- Symptomatic attendees will not be permitted.
4. What will CDN Safety Training do if there is a potential case, or suspected exposure to, COVID-19 at your workplace?
- Where training is provided at the customer’s site, CDN Safety Training would notify the company sponsor who in turn notify the local health unit in the area the training was provided.
- Where training is provided at our designated training location, CDN Safety Training would notify the owner of the facility, the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Health Unit and all those in attendance of the day of suspected exposure.
5. How will CDN Safety Training manage any new risks caused by changes to the way we operate our business?
- Where training is provided at the customer’s site, CDN Safety Training will follow the guidelines set out by the company where the training is conducted.
- Where training is provided at our designated training location, CDN Safety Training will follow the guidelines set out at the training facility.
6. How will CDN Safety Training make sure our plan is working?
- The company president will be responsible for evaluating the plan and adapting the plan when/if needed.
- The plan and any revision to the plan will be posted to the company website.
